Hunting professionally for twenty years across Texas, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, and Mexico, Hugh Fadal built a reputation among hard working hunters as a hard working guide who always has his client's best interest in mind, while providing extraordinary customer service at all times. His easy going yet meticulous personality has so impressed clients, that annual hunts with lasting clientele have become tradition.

With a wealth of resources to choose from and friends throughout the business, Hugh stays informed of the hunting communities highs and lows, and remains committed to seeking out and researching new land all the time.

A steward of the land and friend to the environment, Hugh continues to excel at interpreting the language of the wild, practicing conservation through game and habitat management, and satisfying the most demanding of trophy hunters, year after year.

Hugh Fadal was brought up hunting and fishing in Llano Texas, on a beautiful hill country deer lease shared by his family for over 70 years. There, as a youngster Hugh watched his father harvest deer, dove, quail, ducks, and various predators, with a variety of weapons in a variety of ways. Coming up in a world of guns and ammo, dogs and camo, bows, arrows, and knives, Hugh essentially never stood a chance - especially after taking his first buck with his Dad, and learning to wing shoot. As a teenager, he spent nights reloading box after box of shotgun shells for dove, quail, and ducks, as well as trap and skeet.

From high school through college, when he wasn't working in the fishing department of a local sporting goods store, Hugh was on the lakes sacking up crappie, white bass, and striper as well as tying his own flies for the big largemouth bass and bluegill that lived in neighboring ponds. At the age of 16, Hugh began guiding his hometown associates on duck hunts, deer hunts, varmint hunts, and fishing trips, mostly just for the fun of it. Day and night, rain or shine, Hugh was always hunting or fishing somewhere, and those that know him best will tell you that his desire to be outdoors has never waned. By the time he graduated college in beautiful San Marcos Texas, hunting professionally was still just a dream, but in 1994, after accepting a guide position with Buckhorn Outfitters in Wyoming, that dream became a reality. Hunting elk, antelope, and mule deer in the big country was new to him, but Hugh learned quickly and was immediately invited back, thus kicking off a string of annual fall road trips that still occur to this day. After several years of guiding in Wyoming and Montana, Hugh hired on with Sierra Grande Outfitters in Colorado, and enjoyed another decade of pursuing trophy animals on magnificent private ranch land.

Today, Hugh still hunts professionally as well as recreationally throughout the fall and winter months, mostly with a bow, and fishes both fresh and saltwater regularly throughout the summer months. You can always find Hugh with Courtney, his wife of 9 years, and odds are there's a guitar nearby as well, since music is another one of Hugh's passions. A writer by nature, he has copy written and published dozens of original songs, written and produced two separate records, and is nearing the completion of his first book, a compilation of short stories detailing some of his all time favorite hunting and fishing trips.
